Job Summary:

As a Housekeeping House Attendant, you will be responsible maintains the pristine cleanliness, elegance and order of all public spaces, guest hallways, and back-of-house areas; with the focus on guest room deliveries to our Five-star standards. Learn more about The Broadmoor here.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:

 

• Cleans and maintains guest hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, and assigned service areas.
• Stock, organize, and replenish with bathrobes, glassware, supplies, and amenities; draining and filling ice bins; and removing dirty dishes from floor linen closets.
• Collect dirty trash bags, recyclables, and empty glass container bind in all assigned areas, transporting them to designated disposal areas.
• Move and arrange furniture, assist with floor care, and support deep-clean projects.
• Identify and report maintenance orders, broken fixtures, burned-out lights, or safety hazards immediately and input work orders via HotSos.
• Assist in the delivery of all guests’ requests as they pertain to housekeeping.
• Greet guests warmly with professional, discreet, and courteous communication.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops floor and guest room patios.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Delivers refrigerators, other furniture, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guestrooms.
• Trained on how to make a rollaway or guest room bed.
• Driving hotel vehicles to various locations as deemed necessary.
• Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
• Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:

 

• Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as this role may involve transporting equipment across the Resort. Please note that all employees operating Broadmoor vehicles must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strict adherence to luxury brand standards and safety protocols.
• A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
