Job Summary:

As a Housekeeping Guest Room Attendant, you will provide personalized, discrete by ensuring designated rooms and areas are spotless, disinfected, perfectly arranged and fully equipped to offer a comfortable and cozy stay for the guest. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:

 

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest bedrooms, and other areas in guest rooms, marble and tile entryways, and bathrooms following strict guidelines. Scrub and polish fixtures, mirrors, and glass surfaces, disinfected toilets and showers until spotless.
• Strip and remakes beds using crisp linens and arrange pillows according to our standards, including rollaway and sofa bed. Replaced used or dirty terries with clean ones in the bathroom.
• Replenish high-end bath amenities, bathrobes, slippers, mini-bar items, printed products, welcome gifts, and other necessities in the rooms.
• Vacuum carpets, dust the furniture and clean the windows.
• Emptying trash cans or wastebaskets; sweeps, scrubs, mops floors and guest room patios.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance flaws, burned-out lightbulbs, or damaged furniture, and report issues to engineering or supervisor via device or housekeeping office immediately. Secure and report items according to strict lost and found Broadmoor policy.
• Make sure that each room meets the high standards of hygiene and presentation of the Broadmoor.
• Familiarity with the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Greet guests warmly by NAME with a polite and courteous demeanor, honoring their privacy and fulfilling special requests promptly.
• Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
• Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:

 

• Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
• Previous experience as housekeeper is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
• A sharp eye for spatial perfection, cleanliness, and aesthetics.
• A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
