Summary
The Boca Raton is seeking highly skilled and service-driven Pilates Equipment and Apparatus Instructor to join our elite wellness team. This role delivers exceptional private and semi-private instruction using Pilates Reformer, Tower, Chair, and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate embodies expertise, professionalism, and discretion, while upholding the elevated standards of a Forbes Five-Star environment.
Essential Functions
- Instruct privates and semi-private Pilates sessions utilizing Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, and auxiliary apparatus.
- Must have Part-Time or Full-Time availability to build a book of business.
- Must be available during the week with some weekend availability.
- Design personalized programs that align with guest goals, medical history, and functional needs.
- Provide biomechanically sound, safe, and progressive instruction for guests of all fitness levels.
- Educate clients on alignment, breath work, and core integration.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure continuity of care.
- Inspect, clean, and ensure safety of Pilates equipment before and after each use.
- Collaborate with Wellness and Spa teams to create holistic guest experiences.
- Uphold The Boca Raton’s service standards through hospitality, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Attend departmental training, meetings, and scheduled events as required.

Qualifications
- Comprehensive Pilates certification from a recognized program (e.g., Balanced Body, STOTT, BASI, Peak, Romana’s).
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching on Pilates apparatus in a luxury, clinical, or boutique setting.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Strong communication, presence, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and discretion at all times.

- Pilates Equipment and Apparatus Certified
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
