WHO YOU ARE
Our Fulfillment Operator 2, is a skilled professional that requires attention to detail, dexterity, physical ability, and coordination to keep up with the fast-paced order preparation area. Operators will monitor, and or operate various pieces of equipment, and perform data entry, to ensure the timely preparation, and final shipment of packages, to meet or exceed customer requirements.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our eCommerce center is located in Carlisle, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform required duties and functions including order picking, full pallet replenishments, product moves, loading, unloading, and put away. Assisting with other projects as assigned.
Maintain PIT certifications on the walker rider, pacer, reach truck, Turret Truck, and Cherry Picker. Demonstrates competency using an RF scanning device.
Report quality and inventory variances to individual leads and/or supervisors
Maintain the facilities, equipment, tools and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion, adhering to all sanitation practices
Assists company in servicing the customer and meeting all required Key Performance Indicators
Follows all AMES policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations
Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, sanitation, down pallets clean-up, safety committee, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Must pass and maintain industrial lift certifications from the following: Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Pacer, and Walkie Rider.
At least two or the three stand up forklift certifications and RF scanning device experience or related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instruction.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
