Role overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive experienced Business Operations SME to join our Business Operations team in Bogota, Colombia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring the smooth processing of transactions, enhancing service quality, and engaging with customers through various communication channels.

How you will create impact:

  • Monitor financial transactions to ensure seamless processing and delivery.
  • Enhance the quality of services by analysing transaction data and implementing.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to guarantee efficiency, quality, and adherence to regulations.
  • Engage with customers through calls, emails, and messaging systems to address inquiries, resolve issues, and help as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Product Development, Analytics.
  • Compliance, and sales, to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer interactions, and operational activities.

Essential qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Strong professional Spanish-speaking capability.
  • Strong understanding of LATAM payment corridors and partner operations.
  • Must have prior experience in cross-border payments / international remittances/fintech payment operations.
  • Ability to independently lead partner communications, effectively handling send/receive calls, operational queries, and escalations with minimal supervision and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to understand transaction/corridor issues and provide appropriate operational responses.
  • Proven experience in partner management, operational escalation handling, transaction investigations, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Compliance, and Reconciliation teams.
  • Experience with banks, wallets, MTOs/payment service providers, and transaction/reconciliation operations would be an added advantage.
