About this role

  • Plan presales activities, including customer requirement assessments, technical presentations, and proposal development timelines.
  • Strategize solution approaches by analyzing client needs, market trends, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
  • Formulate customized technical and commercial proposals that align with business goals and client security requirements.
  • Lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions with prospective clients.
  • Synergize with internal departments (Sales, Product, and Engineering) to ensure solution accuracy and feasibility.
  • Control the overall quality and consistency of proposals, ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Evaluate customer environments and recommend appropriate cybersecurity solutions and architectures.
  • Negotiate solution scopes, pricing structures, and technical terms with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • Recommend product positioning and solution enhancements based on client feedback and market insights.
  • Authorize final solution proposals and configurations prior to submission to the client.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing and training initiatives to strengthen the sales team’s understanding of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strategize with the sales team to identify new opportunities, enhance win rates, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT solutions industry.
  • Proven ability to plan, formulate, and evaluate complex cybersecurity solutions and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading presales engagements and strategizing with commercial teams for business growth.
  • Strong capability to synergize with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Skilled in negotiating technical and commercial terms with enterprise-level clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, products, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, SOC, endpoint protection, cloud security, firewalls).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to control multiple concurrent opportunities and ensure timely proposal delivery.
  • Proactive and confident in recommending innovative security approaches that address client challenges.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific credentials (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, etc.) are preferred.
