Operations Point of Contact (Ops POC)

Workplace
Remote solely

About this role

Summary
The Ops POC keeps Targeted Solutions, LLC's primary client efforts stable, staffed, and positioned to grow — owning staffing outcomes, contract deliverables, and people-management functions for programs, with accountability transferring in phases as clearance and competency are established.

Essential Duties

  • Own staffing outcomes: anticipate vacancies, proactive recruiting pipeline development, direct sourcing priorities, run qualifying screen/selection (labor category, clearance, client approval), manage onboarding handoff
  • Set and maintain bench targets; direct Talent Acquisition's sourcing to keep qualified backfill ready
  • Serve as operational point of contact to client program offices once system access begins
  • Own recurring contract deliverables: monthly labor/training reporting, quarterly status reporting, leave-utilization reporting
  • Lead/attend client program-office meetings
  • Escalate staffing or delivery risk to Company leadership
  • Conduct performance appraisals for program staff; administer leave requests
  • Partner with HR, contracts, and accounting on compliance (labor-category requirements, FAR flow-down)
  • During ramp: assist company bookkeeping, shadow recruiting/pipeline activity, study contract Position Descriptions, learn company processes for later process improvement exercises

Phased Scope
Role, hours, and accountability expand across five stages (Trust-building → Extended ramp → Ramping → Co-own → Full-scope), gated by clearance outcome and demonstrated competency rather than fixed seniority.

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Experience in staffing/recruiting coordination, contract operations, or program administration
  • Proficiency with standard finance/HR systems
  • Strong written communication for client-facing deliverables

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency with commercial AI tools
  • Familiarity with product/program management principles
  • Strong financial and analytical background

Working Conditions
Remote, part-time (20 hrs/wk), flexible scheduling; no client customer system access until clearance outcome is received.
