About this role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter with 6-10 years of experience to own full-cycle recruiting for our San Francisco R&D team, hiring exceptional robotics, hardware, and software engineers. You'll be joining a founding TA team at a company building the world's first off-grid power plant for data centers — partnering directly with co-founders and engineering leadership to bring in the best talent at startup speed.

What will you be doing?

Own full-cycle recruiting for robotics, hardware, and software roles in the SF R&D office — sourcing, closing, and everything in between

Build deep outbound pipelines of passive candidates — the engineers we want are rarely on the market

Partner directly with the CTO and engineering leads as a trusted talent advisor, navigating ambiguous and fast-changing headcount needs

Close top candidates against competitive offers using creative strategies including office visits and events

Represent TAR's culture and mission as the first point of contact for candidates — setting the tone from day one

Key Requirements

6+ years of recruiting experience with 4+ years of closing candidates from offer through signed acceptance

Direct experience hiring mechanical, electrical, hardware, robotics, or software engineers

Must be based in San Francisco with an established local network in the Bay Area engineering community

Startup or high-intensity company experience (e.g., Tesla, Zipline, Physical Intelligence, Enduro) — not purely big tech

Strong communicator who can hold their own with senior engineering leadership and co-founders
