Job Summary:
The mission of Air Education & Training Command (AETC) is to recruit, educate, and train the highest quality men and women from the diverse population of our country to fill the Air Force’s requirements and focus on the outcomes by executing adaptable business practices and maintaining an effective, motivated, integrated force. Additionally, candidates are typically unprepared for the rigors and stress of the career fields which have an intense ops tempo (long and/or multiple deployments often into hostile areas).

T3i, Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Developer to regionally deliver Special Warfare/Combat Support (SW/CS), a professionally and technically experienced former Air Force Special Warfare (AFSW) operator (Pararescueman [PJ], Combat Controller [CCT], Tactical Air Control Party [TACP], Special Reconnaissance [SR], Explosive Ordinance Disposal [EOD], Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape [SERE]) to inspire SW/CS candidates through mentorship and a structured development process. The Developer shall provide Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) insight and job knowledge to better inform the candidate on their Air Force career choice. The candidate development program is aimed to both regionally enhance first-contact with SW/CS accessions as well as mentally/physically prepare individual candidates for the enduring demands of the SW/CS initial skills training. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Developers will administer the Pre-Accession Initial Fitness Test (IFT) and conduct Development sessions for applicants/candidates wanting to enter the PJ, CCT, TACP, SR, EOD, and SERE AFSC’s 
  • Developers will administer a minimum of five (5) scheduled IFT/Development events per month and be responsible for coordinating and securing locations to conduct the IFT and Development sessions 
  • Developers must maintain a degree of personal fitness. The Developer leads by example must be able to maintain a level of physical fitness to demonstrate proper techniques and exercise tactics to all applicants/candidates 
  • The Developer must be able to demonstrate and explain all points of performance for all the exercises included in the IFT
    • IFT Exercises Include: 
      • 2 min – Pull-ups
      • 2 min – Sit-ups
      • 2 min – Push-ups
      • 1.5-mile run
      • 2 x 25-meter Underwater Swims
      • 500-meter and/or 200-meter Swim (Freestyle, Breaststroke, Sidestroke)
  • As a part of an overall workout development plan, Developers need to be available daily/weekly (in-person, phone, text, e-mail) to directly assist each candidate with SW/CS career field knowledge, coaching on nutrition, strength/conditioning training, and mental resiliency as well as set and monitor targeted fitness goals/expectations for the candidates
  • Developers will maintain a complete working record that includes: a travel log; a training and development plan; and a training progress assessment/tracking profile of each candidate initiated from their initial and final IFT up until  their Basic Training ship date  
  • Performance may require extensive travel and the Developer may be required to work some weekends and evenings  
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Must have six (6) years of Operational Experience post respective AFSW/CS 3-Level awarding course graduation
  • American Red Cross (Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid, provided by T3i)
  • Personal Trainer Certification (ACE/NASM/TSAC/Coopers/NSCA). If applicant does not already have this cert. T3i will provide training material and reimburse for cost
  • Proficient understanding and working knowledge of computers, e-mail, voicemail, cell phone, and texting to perform duties
  • Proficient understanding and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • AETC Instructor experience at any of the 3-Level awarding courses of instruction or AFSW’s affiliated pipeline schools

T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.  To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.  All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.  Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
