About the Role:
Sylvan Learning Center in Marlton, NJ is looking for a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to inspire students and make language learning fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners of all ages in a supportive, student-focused environment. Sylvan is open on Monday - Thursday from 4pm - 8pm and on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, personalized Spanish language instruction to students of varying skill levels
- Assess student progress and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to succeed
- Communicate student progress and updates to Center Director
- Develop and utilize creative teaching materials, activities, and resources
- Collaborate with Sylvan staff to align instruction with center goals and curriculum standards
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or instructional experience in Spanish a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of diverse ages and learning backgrounds
- Patient, enthusiastic, and student-centered teaching approach
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field preferred
- Teaching certification
