About this role

Description

Thousand Oaks, CA | Chevrolet | Iconic American brand | Finance Manager | F&I | Finance & Insurance | Menu selling | Compliance | Any brand welcome | Southern California | Veterans encouraged to apply | $72,000 - $180,000+/yr OTE

IS THIS YOU?

  • You're an experienced F&I Manager with a strong PVR, clean compliance record, and a menu presentation that builds trust rather than pressure
  • You operate with integrity -- your deals are structured honestly, your lender relationships are solid, and your documentation is clean every time
  • You have 2+ years of automotive F&I experience from any brand background and you're ready to bring that expertise to a high-volume Chevy store in Southern California

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Chevrolet of Thousand Oaks is a high-volume domestic brand store serving a broad and loyal Southern California guest base. The finance office here handles a wide range of buyers -- from first-time purchasers to repeat Chevy loyalists -- and the Finance Manager who earns their trust through honest, clear deal-making builds the kind of repeat business that drives real long-term earnings. Chevrolet or GM experience is a plus, but your F&I fundamentals are what matter most.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Present and close finance, lease, and protection products using a consultative, menu-based approach that puts the guest's needs and clarity first
  • Structure deals accurately and efficiently -- balancing strong PVR with lender compliance and a guest experience that reflects Swickard's hospitality standard
  • Manage lender relationships across a diverse GM and non-GM lending portfolio -- ensuring deal flow, funding speed, and lender mix are optimized
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and dealership regulatory requirements -- Regulation Z, TILA, FCRA, and applicable California-specific requirements
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure clean deal handoffs and a seamless transition from the floor to the finance office
  • Maintain deal documentation to the highest standard -- every deal fundable, every file complete
  • Achieve penetration and PVR targets across VSC, GAP, maintenance, and appearance products
  • Support the development of Brand Specialists' product knowledge and F&I referral habits

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of Finance Manager experience at a franchised dealership -- required. Brand background is open -- import, luxury, and domestic F&I experience all welcome
  • Chevrolet or GM brand experience a plus -- familiarity with GM Financial programs and lender relationships is an advantage, not a requirement
  • Proven PVR performance and consistent product penetration across a full menu
  • Strong knowledge of lender programs, finance and lease structures, and compliance requirements -- including California-specific regulations
  • Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
  • High integrity and zero tolerance for compliance shortcuts -- clean deals, clean files, every time
  • Clear, professional communicator -- able to walk a first-time buyer and a repeat Chevy owner through the finance office with equal confidence and care
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT WE OFFER

  • OTE of $72,000 - $180,000+/yr
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Career growth -- strong Finance Managers at Swickard grow into F&I director and multi-store finance leadership roles
  • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
  • A high-volume domestic brand store with consistent deal flow and strong back-end gross potential

WHY CHEVROLET OF THOUSAND OAKS

  • High volume, broad buyer base -- Chevy's range of trucks, SUVs, cars, and EVs attracts a wide variety of buyers, which keeps the finance office active and the deal mix diverse
  • Thousand Oaks is a strong, family-oriented Southern California community with a loyal Chevy ownership base -- repeat buyers and referrals are a real feature of this store's traffic
  • Brand-open F&I hire -- your experience from any franchised dealership is valued here. Chevy and GM knowledge is a bonus, not a barrier to entry
  • Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry
  • Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply in the finance office just as much as on the showroom floor
  • Leadership that supports a clean, compliant, high-performing finance operation and recognizes the F&I managers who build it

Chevrolet of Thousand Oaks gives a skilled Finance Manager consistent volume, a loyal community buyer base, and the organizational backing to perform at the top of their range. Chevy's broad buyer profile means the finance office sees a wide range of deal structures -- and the F&I manager who handles every one of them with honesty, clarity, and genuine care for the guest will build real earning potential here.

If you're a proven Finance Manager from any brand background ready to bring your expertise to a high-volume Southern California Chevy store -- we'd like to meet you.
