Superlanet is seeking two Senior Workday Analysts for our healthcare client in Texas. These are direct-hire, primarily remote positions with travel required for key project milestones and go-live events.

The Senior Workday Analysts will support the implementation, configuration, testing, optimization, and ongoing support of a new Workday environment. One position will focus on Workday Payroll, while the second will focus on Workday HCM.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, implement, and optimize Workday functionality.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and processes.
  • Support implementation, testing, data validation, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Troubleshoot complex configuration and production issues.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, and ongoing production needs.

Profile 1 – Workday Payroll

  • Deep hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and implementation experience.
  • Pay groups, calendars, earnings, deductions, payroll taxes, and tax jurisdictions.
  • Payroll accounting and GL mapping.
  • Retroactive and off-cycle payroll.
  • Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits touchpoints.
  • Parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live.
  • EIBs and payroll-related data conversion.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.

Preference for candidates who have directly configured and implemented Workday Payroll versus primarily operating payroll post-implementation.

Profile 2 – Workday HCM

  • Strong hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience.
  • Core HCM, organizations, staffing, positions, and job structures.
  • Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Performance.
  • Business Process configuration and security.
  • Reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.
  • Testing, releases, optimization, and production support.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of relevant Workday/enterprise application experience.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong hands-on Workday configuration expertise in Payroll or HCM.
  • Workday implementation, optimization, or major system initiative experience.
  • Strong business analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Healthcare or higher education experience
  • Workday certifications are valued, but hands-on configuration and implementation experience is the priority.
