We are seeking a Service Technician II (G2 Gas Technician / Gasfitter) to join our team in North Bay, Ontario. Reporting to the District Manager, this role is responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining residential and commercial propane and natural gas systems under 400,000 BTUs while upholding the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

Required Qualifications
- G2 Gas Technician License (minimum) and Provincial Gas Fitter certifications with records of training
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Gas Technician.
- Advanced technical knowledge of propane appliances, natural gas equipment, gas piping systems, propane tanks, fuel systems, and plant operations
- Strong working knowledge of CSA B149 Gas Code, industry regulations, and safety standards
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of commercial driving experience and a clean driver's abstract
- WHMIS and TDG certification
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing field service work in residential and commercial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for propane and natural gas equipment
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using computers, mobile technology, work order systems, and onboard truck computer systems
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
Assets (Preferred)
- HVAC certification and related trade qualifications
- Experience with residential and commercial heating systems, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and gas-fired appliances
- Experience performing propane tank installations, gas appliance installations, and fuel system maintenance
- Previous experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians
- Knowledge of crane truck operation and tank relocation procedures
Salary: $30 to $34 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
