Job Responsibilities
Development, implementation and maintenance of QMS/EMS in consultation with Manager Quality Systems
Co-ordinate with certification / accreditation bodies as applicable and ensure the third party audits are conducted on time and thereby maintain the continuation of certifications
Facilitate implementation of Annual Audit Plan
Co-ordinate with the Department Heads and ensure the corrections & corrective actions are implemented within the agreed time period
Co-ordinate with the QSOs and ensure the Corrective and Preventive action meetings are conducted as scheduled and ensure effective implementation of the C & P projects
Ensuring the Management Review meeting is conducted as planned and the minutes are distributed.
Liaise with the relevant personnel and initiate corrective measures to address identified deficiencies towards continually improving the effectiveness of the QMS /EMS
Provide training to the staff and employees to enhance knowledge and understanding of the QMS/EMS.
Monitoring the effective implementation of the QMS/EMS through internal audits
Take proactive actions to continually improve the QMS/EMS
Person’s Profile
A bachelor’s degree preferably from quality management, polymer science, chemistry from a recognized University
Minimum 2+ years’ experience preferably in a export manufacturing sector.
Sound knowledge in Internal Auditor Certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English and Sinhala
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong results orientation
Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite
