Things You’ll Do
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to build projects correctly.
- Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager and the customer.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years grading experience.
- Must be able to finish parking lots and roads with slopes and crowns
- Proven experience operating motor graders in finish grading applications.
- Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
- Ability to achieve precise grade tolerances (within 0.10 feet or better).
- Familiarity with GPS and laser-guided grading systems, and total station.
- Knowledge of soil types and compaction requirements.
- Strong communication skills with foremen and other equipment operators.
