About this role
We are seeking a Service Coordinator to support customers and field technicians by providing technical troubleshooting, scheduling service work, and coordinating solutions across departments. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems of corrugated machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer and technician calls regarding electrical and mechanical service issues.
- Participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation, typically one week at a time, depending on team size.
- Schedule machinery installations and service visits.
- Occasionally travel to assist with equipment evaluation, installation, or troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve customer issues.
- Support the Parts Department with technical questions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of PLC‑based machinery controls.
- Preferred experience with Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell) and Siemens PLC platforms.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Omron controls.
- Experience with corrugated equipment is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
