We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Home Office Accounting team. This position offers hands-on experience in real estate acquisitions, audits, and complex financial operations — it’s never dull!
Pay: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Assist in real estate acquisition support — loan tracking, payments, and document prep
- Collaborate with finance and acquisitions teams
- May assist with market analysis or lender communications
