What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications):
Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Four (4) years of direct service experience with individuals with mental illness (adult experience preferred).
Two (2) years of supervisory experience with direct care staff (healthcare preferred).
Licensure & Certifications:
Active California BBS licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psy.D. (required).
Two (2) years of post-licensure experience as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psy.D. (preferred).
Valid California Driver’s License with a driving record meeting company eligibility standard (required).
Current CPR certification from an approved agency (e.g., American Red Cross) or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
This position conducts oversight of the programming and service delivery; conducts staff supervision; acts as a resource for therapists in the delivery of therapeutic services; performs diagnostic evaluations; and develops treatment plans. Supports data collection and CQI efforts; maintains liaison with the County. The Clinical Supervisor shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Facility & Setting:
16-bed voluntary residential facility offering a short-term, home-like environment.
24/7 intensive treatment is designed as an alternative to hospitalization or urgent care.
Clinical Services:
Residents receive physical and psychological evaluation, medical support services, mental health and case management services.
Serves as a “step down” transition from higher levels of care
Skills & Transition:
Individuals live on-site for several weeks, on average, while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.
