This role requires an engaging leader who can establish and manage a disciplined market strategy. The individual will also work collaboratively to deliver results, with a demonstrated ability to leverage the customer base and champion service expansion across the business line. The Vice President of Sales will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Vice President of Sales will be a critical driver of this growth, shaping the strategy and building the team that carries the company into its next chapter.
Requirements and Primary Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of sales strategy, including annual strategic planning, sales structure, sales territories, target markets, ideal clients, and priority products and solutions
Lead all aspects of new business development
Lead all aspects of sales team activities and performance
Lead all aspects of sales team training and development to ensure consistent success, career development, teamwork, client and employee retention, and continuous improvement
Lead all aspects of sales bid development and submission
Collaborate with other Standleys leaders on Marketing strategy, CRM functionality, Sales compensation, custom pricing, IT sales, Scanning sales, Solutions sales, and other functions as needed
Sponsor sales enablement initiatives, including onboarding curriculum, standardized playbooks, and maximizing CRM adoption across the sales organization
High professional ethics, good judgment, and a bias towards action
Analyze product and solution offerings to ensure that Standley Systems stays a market leader in the office technology space, offering current and relevant solutions to clients in the markets we serve

Vice President Responsibilities
Assist COO, CEO, and Owners with developing and achieving Standley Systems’ Vision
Champion Standley Systems Vision and priorities with assigned teams and throughout company
Ensure a healthy corporate culture
Pursue excellence throughout entire organization
Ensure productive and healthy collaboration with other departments
Develop business strategies, schedules, analyses, and reports
Direct, lead, and evaluate teams' work
Manage assigned portions of Standley Systems’ finances to achieve financial goals
Establish and monitor scorecard metrics for all direct reports
Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and being followed
Establish 1-2 quarterly Rocks (90-day priority goals) for each direct report
Clearly communicate Executive Team priorities to all direct reports to guide their team planning
Complete reviews and have quarterly conversations with all direct reports
Formulate plans to fix any problems when Standley Systems is not achieving its desired goals
Lead L10s (weekly leadership team meetings) with direct reports and continually bring high-value participation to Executive L10s
Stay aware of competitors, the market, expansion opportunities, industry standards, and emerging technologies
Explore opportunities for innovation
Continually grow leadership abilities through training and education
Preferred Experience and Training
10 or more years of managerial experience
Experience leading technology sales teams
Record of functioning as a strong, credible, and collaborative leader who has guided a sales team to achieve a sustained period of growth
Experience with Managed Print, IT Managed Services, Hardware as a Service, Software as a Service, Everything as a Service
Experience preparing technical recommendations and supporting details for formal project proposals and bid responses
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, marketing, or other industry-related field; Master’s degree highly preferred

Must be able to travel to all locations in Oklahoma and North Texas.
