We are looking for a Shipping Clerk for the New Jersey location. The position reports to the job title. The salary is $21.00 to $22.00
Job Summary
The position is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording Staci Americas’s outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials etc.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare various types of transportation billing documents.
- Read shipping order to determine quantity, make determination as to type of transportation needed (UPS, FEDEX, LTL, and USPS)
- Compare identifying information and counts, weights, and/or measure items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading.
- Contact carriers to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer specifications.
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to loading docks and/or trucks.
- Loads product into containers and/or trucks as needed.

Knowledge Of:
- Electronic equipment (scanners, electronic boards)
- Time organization and urgency
Skilled In:
- Working in a team environment or independently
- Organization and planning
Ability To:
- Adhere to shipping and inventory operating procedures
- Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Stand for long periods of time
- Reach and bend
Selective Preference:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
