SUMMARY
St. Vincent Prep Academy is currently looking for Behavioral Specialists for grades pre-K-5 for the 2026/27 school year.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Utilize behavior modification techniques to monitor progress and promote growth.
- Implement and use Trauma Informed Care.
- Assist with planning for school and summer programming and special events.
- Promote parental involvement.
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
- Facilitate behavior group as needed.
- Act as a role model to children to promote appropriate interaction and coping skills.
- Assist transportation services with boarding and de-boarding the children.
- Provide a safe, structured environment free from physical, verbal or emotional abuse for each child.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Highschool diploma plus 3 years of experience working with children required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree does not require 3 years of experience).
Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
