IRIS² Programme Manager– EU Communication Gateway (Ground Segment)
About this role
This role is for you if you:
- Have led large, complex aerospace, space, or infrastructure programmes with full end-to-end accountability
- Thrive in building and scaling organisations while delivering under demanding governance and timelines
- Bring experience from ESA, EC, or comparable institutional environments
- Are comfortable operating at executive level with high visibility and stakeholder complexity
- Enjoy navigating ambiguity and driving results across multi-partner industrial ecosystems
- Proven experience as Programme Director or Senior Programme Manager delivering large-scale programmes with full accountability
- Extensive experience within ESA and/or ECSS environments
- Strong track record in building programme organisations
- Experience from prime contractor or system integrator environments
- Experience in satellite communications, ground segment or related infrastructure
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Own and drive programme delivery
- Lead and scale the programme organisation
- Establish industrial organisation and partner model
- Ensure governance aligned with ESA/ECSS
- Act as key stakeholder interface
- Own milestones and acceptance
