Spire Bristol Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Bank team, offering flexible, ad-hoc shifts to suit your lifestyle.

When covering bank you would be requested to work any of the following shifts - 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm or 9pm-7.30am

Duties and responsibilities:

As part of our nursing team, you will:

• Deliver high-quality patient care, maintaining excellent clinical standards at all times
• Assess, plan, and implement care across a varied and often complex caseload
• Support patients’ health, wellbeing, and recovery throughout their journey
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff, acting as a role model for best practice
• Deputise for senior staff when required
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Promote equality, diversity, and patient dignity in all aspects of care
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, including HCAI responsibilities
• Work in line with the NMC Code and all Spire Healthcare policies and procedures

Who we're looking for:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
• Previous clinical nursing experience
• You must have previous surgical experience in orthopaedic and /or general 
• I have an agency nurse Raechel Bentley who might apply, please submit her if she does. 
• Strong clinical knowledge and a broad range of nursing skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
• Understanding of clinical governance and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CQC)
• A proactive, team-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Cardiac experience is desirable
