Role Overview & Responsibilities

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for new team members to assemble production components and units, such as desks and display centers, in preparation for packaging and shipping.

  • Assembles a variety of products
  • Positions production parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Works on a line as a member of an assembly team, assembles several specific parts, and passes units to another team member for the next assembly task
  • Uses various hand-held and pneumatic tools including hammer, mallet, screwdriver, screw gun, hand drill, staple gun, torque wrench to secure/ attach components and/ or hardware
  • Accurately interprets blueprints and assembly instructions
  • Lifts unit from one station to the next as well as stacks/ secures product to skid for transportation at various stages of completion
  • Records information such as quantities, work time, date, and other job information on daily time documents and routing sheets
  • Performs quality checks throughout the building process as well as product counts
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months to one year of related work experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
