The Driver is responsible for
Driving agency vehicles to meet program needs
Transporting clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client related issues
Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients
Working with the Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for Campus vehicles
Conducting daily safety checks and appropriate documentation before driving Campus vehicles
Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and complete duties in the allotted time
Responding to all life safety maintenance issues in a timely fashion
Following all organizational and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of agency vehicles and transporting clients
QualificationsQualifications
Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must display the use appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, staff and regulatory agencies.
