The Director of Inpatient Operations is responsible for:
The programmatic and administrative operations for all inpatient services, assigned.
Providing support to the Executive Director of Inpatient Services/ Program Directors, and other management to ensure that the programs are in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Promoting an atmosphere of customer service amongst staff, professionalism, excellence in behavioral education services, ensuring the provision of safe and dignified facilities for clients and staff, employing sound business practices, aggressive expansion of services and quality improvement practices.
Representing NERC/Spectrum to the various markets in which the organization operates and fosters positive public relations and promote Spectrum’s services.
Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.
QualificationsQualifications
Minimum of a Masters degree in social work, counseling, human services, AND counseling field licensure required.
Experience working with DPH BSAS licensing requirements, healthcare insurance companies and CARF accreditation standards preferred.
Five years of management and/or supervisory experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment preferred.
Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
Must possess in-depth knowledge of business practices to lead, direct and evaluate operational activities, ability to develop budgets, policies and procedures, and to provide effective management and motivation of managers and staff.
Experience in pursuing new business opportunities and marketing of services preferred.
