Env Field Technician I / Spray-Tech - Bio-Tech

This is a great full-time job opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Florida's outdoors! 

Join our environmental consulting firm and:

• Apply herbicides to invasive plants to keep out native plants thriving and in competition.
• Assist land clearing on large Florida land projects.
• Perform aquatics management work on ponds, canals and wetlands.
• Help restore Florida native environments with planting and seeding.

This is a physical job in outdoor Florida conditions. Join the team and you’ll traverse some of Florida’s most wild landscapes including marshes, hammocks and remote upland areas. This is a GREAT career opportunity with an established, privately-owned firm and can be a long-term position with room for advancement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
• Clean, valid Florida Driver's License with the ability to pass a 5-year MVR Screening
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Able to pass a law enforcement background check
• Clean drug & alcohol screening
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Willing to work with a tight team in challenging environments
• Lift loads up to 50 pounds
