Under general supervision, transports specimens, reports, and supplies between various hospitals and medical facilities and the main laboratory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORS
Job involves frequent communication in person, by radio and writing. Pickup and deliveries may weigh up to 25 pounds. Must be able to operate Company vehicle in a safe, defensive driving manner. Must be able to record time and other necessary information accurately. Job requires frequent communication by radio system, beeper or telephone.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to train new drivers on job functions.
Ability to operate a computer.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires valid Arizona driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
