Wage: $25.61 / Hourly ($.50 at the end of 6 calendar months and then $.50 at the end of an additional 6 months)
Hours: 2nd shift -1:30pm-10pm

While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Utility worker (Production Worker), you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing

  • Loading metal ends in the rotofeed

  • Dumping trash from lines

  • Relieving for breaks on the palletizer and depalletizers

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area

  • Assists other departments as needed

  • You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training

  • Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring

  • Arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record

  • An individual looking to advance with a high school diploma or GED
