Position Summary
We are seeking a Cloud / Systems Engineer to support a federal government customer. The engineer will provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure, servers, and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, AWS, and/or Microsoft Azure, along with Windows/Linux system administration.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and support GCP, AWS, and/or Azure cloud environments.
· Support Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Shared Drives, Groups, Meet, and user administration.
· Manage cloud servers, virtual machines, storage, networking, users, roles, and permissions.
· Monitor system availability, performance, security, backups, and infrastructure health.
· Troubleshoot cloud, server, network, authentication, and application issues.
· Support Windows and Linux systems, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
· Assist with security configurations and vulnerability remediation.
· Support application deployments, migrations, backup, and recovery activities.
· Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
· Work with application, network, cybersecurity, help desk, and government customer teams.
Required Qualifications
· 5-10+ years of cloud, systems administration, or infrastructure support experience.
· Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
· Experience with Google Workspace administration is highly preferred.
· Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems.
· Knowledge of cloud networking, identity/access management, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery.
· Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
· Bachelors in IT or related technologies
Preferred Qualifications
· Federal government IT support experience.
· Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, RMF, and ATO environments.
· Experience with Google Cloud Identity, IAM, monitoring, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID.
· Google Cloud, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, or CompTIA certifications are a plus.
