Van Delivery Driver - Toledo, OH

The Van Delivery Driver is responsible for making timely deliveries in a Parcel Van or Non-CDL Delivery Truck to customers within the Midwest region. You will have daily interaction with our customers, transportation, and sales team. 


 
What You’ll Do

  • Load and secure product from the Toledo DC into a parcel van and or straight truck.
  • Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Distribution Center and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. 
  • Abide by the company’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
  • Unload and deliver products at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
  • Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  • Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
  • Perform an inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.


 
What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday - Saturday
  • Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations.
  • No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 35 pounds
  • Read and write in English
  • Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
  • Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
  • Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture


Schedule - Full Time 

  • Tuesday - Saturday 
  • Overtime will be required as needed. 

Pay & Benefits 

  • Compensation for this position starts at $20.00 per hour.
