About this role
Primary Objective: We are hiring a facility maintenance technician for our Kissimmee, FL Fab.
Shift: B Shift: Sun- Tues and every other Wed from 6:00 PM- 6:15AM. 10% shift differential for this role.
Major Areas of Accountability:
•Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, including critical building support systems such as:
o Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
o Environmental Control Systems:
Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units.
Hot Water Boilers.
o Acid Waste Neutralization Systems.
o Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems.
o Exhaust Systems:
Fume Scrubbers.
General Exhaust Fans.
o Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution.
• Document Facilities Procedures & make Improvements to Procedures as needed.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One or more of the following:
o 3 or more years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
o 3 or more years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Highly motivated individual who can achieve positive results in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and environmental conditions.
• Able to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Semiconductor Facilities Maintenance Experience.
•3-5 or more years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or Related Field.
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following:
o HVAC
o Electrical (Industrial-Level)
o Building Automation
o Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems
o Bulk and Specialty Cylinder Gas Systems
Physical Demands:
- Lift and move processing equipment, applicable tools, office equipment, and some chemical drums. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, a minimum of 3-4 days/week.
- Variety of standing, sitting & data entry.
- Wear complete fab attire for full shift
- Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment, and work with hazardous chemicals, gasses and hot/cold outdoor environments.
