Job Description
The Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The position provides leadership to EHSS personnel, establishes a scalable reporting structure, and ensures consistent ownership of safety and security initiatives. · Lead, administer, and improve EHSS programs and policies · Establish and maintain a scalable reporting structure for safety & security · Supervise and lead EHSS staff in day-to-day operations · Directly oversee incident and accident investigations · Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements · Lead audits, inspections, and facility compliance assessments · Analyze safety data and trends to drive improvements · Serve as advisor to leadership and employees on safety matters · Participate in safety councils and pre-construction meetings · Evaluate new projects for safety risks and recommend improvements · Administer safety & security annual budgets · Exercise authority to suspend unsafe work activitiesPosition Summary
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years EHSS experience required; leadership experience preferred Experience in utilities or construction a plus Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred · Strong leadership and team management · Excellent communication and public speaking skills · Ability to manage multiple priorities · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite · Valid driver’s license requiredBachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field required
