About this role
We are looking for an Account Executive with 2+ years of closing experience in corporate compliance, entity management, or legal information services to join a fast-growing AI-powered legal tech startup disrupting how businesses manage compliance filings. You'll own the full sales cycle selling to senior decision-makers like GCs, CFOs, and Corporate Secretaries at a company backed by $33M+ in funding and partnered with 40+ AmLaw 300 firms.
What will you be doing?
Building your own pipeline from scratch with no inbound leads for the first 90 days — proving you can hunt independently
Running the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, selling directly to CFOs, General Counsel, and Compliance leaders
Partnering with BDRs who will hand over qualified leads once you've established yourself (roughly 1/3 self-sourced, 2/3 inbound long-term)
Running compelling product demos connecting SingleFile's AI-powered platform to real compliance pain points
Traveling to meet prospects and attend industry events as needed
Key Requirements
2+ years of full-cycle AE experience selling entity management, registered agent, governance, or corporate compliance solutions (competitors like CSC, CT Corporation, or adjacent legal tech like LexisNexis/Thomson Reuters)
Ability to articulate specific metrics, deal examples, daily prospecting activity, and pipeline-building strategies — no generic answers
Active LinkedIn profile (300+ connections) used for prospecting — this is a non-negotiable signal
Startup or high-growth company experience; comfortable building pipeline without inbound support
Team-oriented mindset — no lone wolves; must want to be part of a collaborative sales culture
