Position Summary
The Regional Manager is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team and is responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and operational excellence of 2–5 restaurant locations (or more as determined by senior leadership).
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coach and develop General Managers, drive operational consistency, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help scale Simply Salad's systems and culture as we continue to grow.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of General Managers.
Build high-performing, engaged restaurant teams through effective leadership and accountability.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training at all organizational levels.
Lead disciplinary actions and employee relations in accordance with company policies.
Oversee scheduling, payroll, and timecard accuracy, including compliance with meal and rest break policies.
Training & Development
Facilitate and instruct management training programs, including:
Manager in Training (MIT)
Leader in Training (LIT)
Team Member Training
Ramp-Up Plans and future company training initiatives
Continuously improve training materials and documentation.
Support recruiting and interviewing for entry-level, Shift Leader, Senior Shift Leader, and General Manager positions.
Operations Excellence
Ensure restaurants consistently meet company standards for food quality, safety, cleanliness, and guest service.
Monitor restaurant performance and implement action plans to improve results.
Resolve complex guest concerns professionally and effectively.
Review sales performance, labor, inventory, food costs, and forecasting.
Maintain compliance with health, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility repairs.
Review operational reports and communicate performance updates to senior leadership.
Serve as a hands-on leader by supporting restaurant operations during peak business periods when needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven leadership experience managing multiple restaurant locations or high-volume restaurant operations.
Strong coaching, delegation, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Thorough understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and labor management.
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, POS systems, and operational software.
Ability to collaborate with senior leadership to improve systems and processes.
Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and business needs.
Ability to work approximately 50–60 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous restaurant management experience required.
Multi-unit leadership experience strongly preferred.
Successful completion of Simply Salad's corporate training program.
Current Food Manager Certification for assigned region.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
