Boston Standard is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber who knows how to diagnose a problem, talk to homeowners, present the right options and get the job done right.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service and repair residential plumbing systems
- Handle water heaters, tankless systems, faucets, toilets, piping, leaks, sump pumps and other residential plumbing needs
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend the right solutions
- Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners
- Provide estimates and present repair and replacement options
- Complete repairs and installations safely and correctly
- Keep customers informed throughout the job
- Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
- Keep your truck, tools and work area organized
- Deliver a great customer experience from start to finish
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience working directly with homeowners
- Comfortable presenting options and recommendations to customers
- Knowledge of water heaters, tankless systems, fixtures, piping and common residential plumbing repairs
- Massachusetts plumbing license preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Dependable, professional and ready to be part of a team
