SIFCO Industries, Inc., a premier publicly held supplier to the aerospace industry located in Cleveland, Ohio, seeks a qualified Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate domestic and international shipping and receiving activities, including preparing shipping documentation, managing bills of lading, entering shipment information through customer portals, and processing transactions in SAP. This position also maintains freight and shipping records while ensuring shipments comply with applicable export requirements and international trade terms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generates packing lists for QOH parts

Issue BOL, packing lists, commercial invoices, / tag pallets / dispatch shipments for collection

Entering ASNs for shipments per customer portals as required

Maintain BOL records digitally and physically

Maintain Customer pick lists

Maintain freight contracts (discounts)

Issue BOL for o/s services (production & non-production related i.e. OS work, scrap collection, die shop or maintenance shipments)

Perform receiving transactions in SAP for raw material and MRO supplies

Assist with transacting outside work transactions as needed

All other duties as assigned

Understanding of export shipments, license requirements, incoterms for international shipments

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Two or more years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience preparing bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other shipping documentation preferred.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with customer portals, advance shipping notices (ASNs), freight contracts, export requirements, and Incoterms preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
