Senior Solutions Engineer - Digital Native/Mid-market (Remote US)
About this role
We are looking for Senior Solutions Engineers with strong engineering depth (DevOps, AppSec, CI/CD) to join our team in London. You’ll be the technical lead in our Digital Native (Mid-Market) sales cycles — a Solutions Engineer with a big “E” in engineering and a small “S” in sales: able to read code, understand vulnerabilities, work with CI/CD systems, and communicate clearly with senior technical stakeholders.
We are looking for 2 remote candidates: one to work West coast customers, and the other East. Max 20% of time will be spent travelling for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company events.
What will you be doing?
Becoming an expert on Semgrep and integrating it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.
Running technical discovery, diagnosing issues, and advising on solution design.
Owning Proof-of-Value cycles end-to-end — defining success criteria, configuring environments, and delivering technical wins.
Writing or adapting Semgrep rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product mastery.
Explaining Semgrep’s technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
Reducing customer friction by improving demo setups, automation, and educational content.
Partnering with AEs (2:1 ratio) to support enterprise deals (~$140K ACV; 6–12 month cycles).
Helping scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team through process, enablement, and best practices.
