Seidel Hyundai is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Reading, PA. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models, possess a strong attention to detail, and be committed to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage and necessary repairs
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete body work in a timely and professional manner
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure repair quality meets Seidel Hyundai standards
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair status
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and materials
- Ability to operate body shop equipment and tools safely
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
