Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time IT Asset Processing Technician I to join our team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on processing, testing, grading, and preparing used computers and electronics for resale, reuse, or recycling.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with technology, is comfortable using basic hand tools, and has a natural curiosity for understanding how computers and electronics work. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, sort, and process incoming computers, laptops, servers, and electronic equipment
  • Test, wipe, and grade hardware according to company standards
  • Perform basic component harvesting, repairs, upgrades, and part replacements
  • Disassemble and reassemble desktops, laptops, and other electronics
  • Ensure data destruction compliance and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Pick, pack, and ship e-commerce orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards while meeting daily productivity goals

What We're Looking For

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
  • Comfortable disassembling and reassembling desktops and laptops
  • One year of experience working with computers, electronics, IT hardware, or related hands-on technical work is preferred
  • Warehouse, retail, or production experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a steady pace
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and senior technicians
  • Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter data into company systems

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work around equipment during teardown and processing activities
