Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Data Center Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise or hyper scale data center environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, network, and storage equipment.

  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and decommissions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues on servers and network devices.

  • Execute break/fix activities and preventive maintenance.

  • Manage structured copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documentation.

  • Support IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.

  • Perform equipment audits, inventory management, and asset tracking.

  • Work with remote engineering teams to execute maintenance and deployment tasks.

  • Follow change management, safety, and data center operational procedures.

  • Provide timely updates and maintain accurate documentation of completed work.



Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar infrastructure support role.

  • Experience with server hardware from Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, or Supermicro.

  • Strong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, and rack infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.

  • Familiarity with enterprise networking fundamentals and data center best practices.

  • Ability to lift upto 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hyper scale data centers.

  • Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications are a plus.

  • Experience with remote hands support and hardware lifecycle management.
