Job Title: Cocktail Server

Role Overview

Our servers are a reflection of both our venues and our brand, always presenting themselves as a positive and professional reflection of our business. They are responsible for ensuring our guests receive excellent service, creating new regulars, and ensuring return visits and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and exceptional service by overseeing all aspects of table service.
  • Welcome all guests professionally, always smile warmly and genuinely, provide excellent service, be upbeat and helpful on the floor, assisting guests and co-workers.
  • Listen to guests and anticipate their needs.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs and questions.
  • Work as a team, especially with your TSA.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products, menu, beverages, wines and general information of the club/restaurant and company.
  • Properly set-up your station.
  • Attend and participate in daily pre-shift meeting.
  • Knowledge and awareness of proper alcohol service.
  • Table maintenance and bussing of excess tableware.
  • Presentation and reconciliation of checks. Organization and accountability.
  • Collect cash from guests, performing credit card authorizations and services.
  • Always be in uniform and properly groomed.
  • Communicate all relevant information to the service team, putting the service team in the best possible position to execute flawless service.
  • Communicate clearly and timely with management, hosts and service staff to address any and all guest needs and requests.
  • Clear and reset tables.
  • Properly execute closing procedures.
  • Accurately and honestly complete closing financial paperwork.
  • Perform running side work during service for your specific section and complete closing side work.

  • Acute awareness of the impact individual behavior will have on the venue and the brand.
  • Ability to genuinely connect with guests and up-sell authentically.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest needs and display the same degree of urgency to assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
  • Must be able to maintain composure and provide excellent guest interaction while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.
  • Professional in demeanor and presentation at all times while working at the venue.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in high-end, high volume nightlife or service focused environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, on-site position
  • Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • The position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment focused on delivering high-impact guest experiences.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum six (6)-hour shift and work inside assigned bar area in the venue.
  • Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
  • Must be able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and VIP Table Hosts.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, and dust and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.

Work Environment

Candidates understand that the business concept is based on a hospitality and lifestyle brand, which includes the service of food and alcoholic beverages. Candidates acknowledge and understand that accepting employment with the Company, requires presence at a venue, which may include exposure to the following: smoke from cigarettes and cigars outside venue; loud music and other sounds; individuals under the influence of alcohol; women and men in sexy and/or sexually provocative clothing.

Work Authorization
