Description
Essential Functions of the position:
- Basic troubleshooting and repairing of machinery
- Preventative maintenance
- Tear-down and rebuild of machinery
- Lockout/Tagout
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and hand tool knowledge and usage ability
- General electrician knowledge
- Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams
- Ability to endure heights - up to 150 feet
- Manufacturing experience
Supervision Received:
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Tools and Equipment:
Provided by employee:
- Basic hand tools (e.g., ratchets and sockets, screwdrivers, allen wrenches etc.)
Provided by the employer:
- Specialty tools
Work Environment:
- Not climate-controlled
- Foundry environment
Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:
- Bend
- Squat
- Kneel
- Stand for the duration of the shift
