Description
Sarma is seeking an organized, dependable, and professional Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day HR functions of our organization.
This position will assist with employee records, Paylocity, onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, timekeeping and attendance, leave documentation, performance reviews, general HR administration, and administrative support related to Executive expense reporting.
Requirements
Serve as an approachable and professional point of contact for employees and routine HR questions.

- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and employee offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, schedules, and documentation in Paylocity.
- Monitor timekeeping, attendance, missing punches, and timecard corrections.
- Track vacation, sick leave, FMLA, and other employee leave documentation.
- Assist with recruiting, job postings, resume review, interview scheduling, offer letters, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate and track employee performance reviews.
- Prepare employee letters, notices, forms, and HR communications.
- Assist management with employee-relations documentation and appropriately escalate sensitive matters.
- Coordinate with Accounting/Payroll and IT regarding new hires, employee changes, and separations.
- Maintain required HR records, acknowledgments, and training documentation.
- Assist Executive Management with expense reports, receipts, supporting documentation, and timely submission to Accounting.
- Actively participate in and assist with coordinating company events, employee activities, holiday celebrations, recognition programs, and other employee-engagement initiatives.
- Help promote a positive, welcoming, and engaging company culture by encouraging employee participation and supporting activities that bring employees together.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Executive Management based on the needs of the organization.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Human Resources or HR administrative experience preferred.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
- HRIS/payroll system experience; Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of onboarding, timekeeping, employee records, recruiting, and general HR practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee, executive, and financial information with professionalism and discretion.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to work full-time, on-site at Sarma’s San Antonio office.
