Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Front Load Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our team in Waycross, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate front load refuse trucks to collect commercial and residential waste according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading waste containers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents or delays.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations.
• Previous experience operating front load trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and operating heavy machinery. Safety is a top priority.
