About this role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 3-8 years of experience to own the technical customer relationship at a $50M Series A AI data platform for investors. You'll embed directly with private equity, private credit, and venture capital firms — building custom integrations on their data, demoing complex data infrastructure to C-level stakeholders, and driving real outcomes alongside our founders and engineers.
What will you be doing?
Build and demo custom solutions on customer data — connecting structured and unstructured sources (PDFs, Excel, databases), running data reconciliation, and building compelling front-ends on top
Own pre-sales technical work: build reusable demo environments, run private demos on prospect data, and support deal strategy
Post-sales: work alongside engineers on lighter-weight implementations, data integrations, evals, and customer feedback loops
Drive technical relationship management — sit with analysts at PE firms, understand their workflows, and translate patterns into product improvements
Act as the voice of the customer, identifying what should be productized vs. one-off
