Tri Area Trucking School - A Division of Ross Education LLC.

Monroe, MI - In person

Looking to hire/start in 1-3 weeks - so no wait time to start!

Use your experience and knowledge to teach new drivers so they can hit the road!

Set schedule, you are home and no road expenses
Full Time, year-round position
New programs start every few weeks
No lesson plans to write just follow the program already in place

CDL Inst QualificationsRequirements

2 years or more of recent truck driving experience
Valid CDL A - no restrictions - must be able to drive a manual truck

Current CDL DOT Medical Wallet Card

Must be able to obtain a state of Michigan Driving Instructor License
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather, with extended periods of time standing and sitting
Must be able to get in and out of Semi-Tractor/Trailers and perform all driving related duties
Must have patience, flexibility and a willingness to learn
Sufficient ability to stand for extended periods of time, move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation. Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, and use classroom/office equipment. Ability to use current technology to maintain student records
Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment
Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor
Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
Perform related work as required
