About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities / Platform Maintenance and Reliability

• Monitor and maintain automations and data pipelines built on Google Cloud Functions, Python,
Google Apps Script, and AppSheet; identify, diagnose, and resolve failures and inconsistencies.
• Maintain and enhance internal web applications (React) deployed within the monday.com
platform, including their supporting APIs.
• Perform routine data quality work, including identifying and correcting duplicate records, broken
references between boards, and inconsistent status values that affect downstream reporting and
billing.
• Assist with testing, building, and deploying application releases in accordance with established
procedures.

Technical Support and Staff Requests

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff technology requests, including board configuration
changes, new columns and automations, report requests, permissions adjustments, and data
discrepancies; resolve routine requests and escalate complex issues with clear documentation.
    • Develop small internal tools and views in response to recurring operational needs.
    • Support staff onboarding to internal systems and maintain user-facing documentation.

Project Contribution
• Contribute to the development of new applications, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows under
the direction of the IT Director, taking on increasingly independent components over time.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or comparable LLM-
based tools) to accelerate development, and validate, test, and safely integrate AI-generated code
and content before it reaches production systems.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for systems, automations, and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• One to three years of hands-on technical experience; relevant internships, bootcamp training with
substantive projects, or a demonstrable portfolio will be considered.
• Working knowledge of at least one general-purpose programming language (Python or JavaScript
preferred) and practical experience working with data through SQL, spreadsheets, or APIs.
• Experience building or maintaining a web application, automation, or integration.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and large language model tools (for example
Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or ChatGPT/Claude for technical work) as part of building,
debugging, or documenting software, and the judgment to review and verify their output.
• Ability to investigate ambiguous problems independently and communicate findings and
recommendations clearly, including to non-technical staff.
• Strong written communication skills and a consistent practice of documenting work.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work on-site at our Long Beach location.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience administering or building on monday.com or a comparable work management
platform.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or Google Workspace administration.
• Experience with React, Node.js, or modern front-end tooling.
• Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or another HIPAA-regulated environment.

Technical Environment
monday.com (boards, automations, GraphQL API, custom views); React and Vite; Google Cloud
Functions (Node.js and Python); Google Workspace APIs, Apps Script, and AppSheet; Python data
scripts; Vertex AI (Gemini); Chrome extensions; AI-assisted development with Claude Code and
comparable LLM tools. Candidates are not expected to have experience with every technology listed;
the ability to learn new tools quickly is essential.
