Responsibilities:

Schedule and maintain an accurate record of RMU Radio's live programming and podcasts on Radio.co, Podcast.co and Rockbot

Keeps a record of radio show sign ups

Works with the staff Engineer to train radio crew members and producers (student, staff and faculty) on the use of RMU Radio's equipment and policies.

Coordinate with the staff Media Project Manager to assign Radio.co and Rockbot segment production in Camayak.

Coordinate student participation in RMU-Radio live streams on campus.

Attend all Radio Club meetings on behalf of the AMC.

Represent RMU-Radio to the campus community, especially the student body through Student Government and (as assigned engagement with RMU classes.

Assist radio hosts, producers, and AMC staff with the selection and submission of student work for school, regional, and national awards.

Hold bi-weekly scheduled staff meetings. Uphold RMU and department policies by adhering to the AMC Student Media Handbook to ensure inclusive and experiential media learning.Engage with RMU students, alumni, campus groups, and local contributors to source original content for programming blocks.
Minimum Qualifications:

All majors are welcome. Prior participation in a volunteer role on an RMU-Radio and/or in Radio Club is strongly encouraged. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of people, to problem solve, and work within deadlines.

The ideal candidate should be organized, dependable, comfortable learning new technology, and interested in producing and curating engaging audio and video segments for a diverse university audience.
