About this role

Job Purpose 

To prepare quality products in a timely manner for the production line

Essential Functions

    Working knowledge of operation of different types of process equipment with varying degrees of automation

    Comprehend and follow processes control instructions and/or formula recipes and procedures (including completing paperwork)

    Responsible for quality of products, ensuring that the correct amounts of good quality filling materials are used

    Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washouts

    Coordinate with Production personnel to successfully transfer product to the production lines

    Preparation of filling materials for processing

    Assist in cleaning, maintaining and inventory of filling material storage areas

    Ability to use a manual pallet jack and stacker lift for retrieval of filling materials

    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

    Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

    Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

    The employee understands the importance of food safety- Legality, Safety, Quality and Authenticity of the product.

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 


California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $17.00 to $26.45 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
